- Wash and cut peppers into 1-inch pieces; remove seeds and membranes.
- Toss with olive oil, salt, and optional sugar.
- Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- Air fry at 380°F for 8 minutes, shaking halfway.
- Lower temp to 300°F (149°C) and cook another 5 minutes.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use red or yellow peppers for best results.
- Store in airtight container for up to 2 days.
- Re-crisp in air fryer at 300°F for 2-3 minutes if needed.
