Method
- Clean mushrooms and remove stems. Finely chop stems if using.
- Mix breadcrumbs, cheese, garlic, herbs, olive oil, salt, and optional stems in a bowl.
- Stuff each mushroom cap with filling, pressing slightly.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F. Spray basket with oil.
- Place mushrooms in a single layer. Air fry 8–10 minutes until golden.
- Cool slightly and serve warm
Notes
Make ahead up to 1 day before cooking. Store leftovers in the fridge for 3 days and reheat in the air fryer. Use gluten-free breadcrumbs as needed.
