Air Fryer Shrimp Tacos

Juicy, smoky shrimp cooked perfectly in the air fryer, wrapped in warm tortillas with crunchy slaw and creamy sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb medium or large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 8 small tortillas corn or flour
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 lime cut into wedges
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp mayo
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Hot sauce to taste

Method
 

  1. Toss shrimp with oil, chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, and salt.
  2. Preheat air fryer to 400°F for 2–3 minutes.
  3. Arrange shrimp in a single layer in the basket.
  4. Air fry at 400°F for 6–8 minutes, shaking halfway.
  5. Warm tortillas while shrimp cook.
  6. Assemble tacos with slaw, shrimp, sauce, cilantro, and lime.

Notes

  • Store leftover shrimp in the fridge for up to 2 days.
  • Use Greek yogurt for a lighter sauce.
  • Use corn tortillas for gluten-free.
