Air Fryer Pecan Pie Hand Pies

Buttery, sweet, and perfectly handheld — these air fryer pecan pie hand pies are the best way to enjoy pecan pie without the fuss.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pie crust
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 egg for brushing

Method
 

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix pecans, brown sugar, butter, syrup, vanilla, and salt.
  3. Roll out pie crust and cut into circles (~4 in).
  4. Add 1 tbsp filling, fold, and crimp edges.
  5. Brush with egg wash.
  6. Air fry for 8–10 mins.
  7. Cool slightly; dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

Don’t overfill. Use parchment or oil spray for easy release. Store in airtight container or freeze prepped pies.
