These Air Fryer Mummy Hot Dogs are fun, kid-friendly, and so easy! Juicy hot dogs wrapped in crispy crescent dough make the perfect Halloween snack or lunchbox treat.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 hot dogs
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • Mustard or mayo for eyes
  • Optional: 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)

Method
 

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350°F.
  2. Unroll crescent dough and press seams to form a sheet. Cut into thin strips.
  3. Wrap each hot dog with dough strips, leaving space for eyes.
  4. Arrange in a single layer in air fryer basket.
  5. Air fry at 350°F for 6–8 minutes, until golden.
  6. Cool slightly and add mustard or mayo eyes. Serve warm or pack in lunchboxes.

Notes

Wrap ahead and refrigerate raw up to 1 day. Reheat leftovers in air fryer for crispness. Use whole wheat dough or turkey dogs if desired.
