Air Fryer Honey-Mustard Chicken Tenders

Crispy, juicy, and sweet-tangy — these honey-mustard chicken tenders are air-fried to perfection in just 10 minutes!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb chicken tenders or sliced chicken breast
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp Dijon or yellow mustard
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs optional
  • Cooking spray or oil

Equipment

  • Air fryer

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix honey, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add chicken tenders and marinate at least 15 minutes.
  3. If using, coat each tender in breadcrumbs.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
  5. Arrange tenders in air fryer basket, spray lightly with oil.
  6. Air fry 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until cooked through.
  7. Serve with extra honey-mustard for dipping.

Notes

  • Marinate up to 24 hours in fridge.
  • Store leftovers 3 days; reheat at 350°F.
  • Freeze cooked tenders; reheat from frozen at 375°F.
  • Make gluten-free with GF breadcrumbs or skip coating.
